Hi all I am being offered this watch and I am completely new to 1655 territory. It has recently had a 'major' service
What should I expect to pay for this watch and if that can't be answered...simply is this a good watch to buy or not original so I should forget it?

case looks to be in good shape but the pics are not the greatest...the end piece fitment looks funky.

Bezel was replaced at some point, though I'd guess it was during the recent "major" service.

Yes fusion I think you are right and the confusion is arising because the reseller thinks and stated that the dial was changed at service

Any indication what this watch should be worth if it simply has a replaced bezel?

Pics still don't tell enough. Would be nice to get clear shots between the lugs, of the case back, of the lugs on the back side, etc. Current pics aren't sharp enough, and the perspective is off. For example, the case looks a bit fat based on the pics, though if it was indeed serviced by an RSC in 2014, then it's just the angle making it look weird.

And was the "NOS" dial put in before, during or after the service? It looks way too new to be a NOS first production dial. I though RSC would only have luminova "SWISS" dials available to them nowadays.

Hi fusion, thanks
I think regarding pics that's all I'm going to get. However I agree with your sentiments regarding the dial, according to them it is NOS supplied by the authorised Rolex dealer

1. Genuine mk2 frogfoot tritium dial with service luminova set of hands and service thin font bezel. No doubt it will also have had a full movement overhaul, new crown and tube and new gaskets throughout.
2. The dial matches the 4.02mil serial.
3. Case is fairly worn but still plenty thick and perfectly acceptable.
4. I am unfamiliar with asking prices in your area of the world but I expect between 12 to 13k usd based on the diminished value of the luminova service replacement parts.

Surprising it would be that high after all the service hands. Generally, are prices going up on this? I have a all original 2.72mm SN that I'm trying gauge the market on for sale - it looks like these have really gone up in the last few years.
