Got my first vintage/birth year watch 1680 sub
As the title says, got my first vintage watch that is also my birth year. 1978 Rolex 1680 submariner. Picked it up from our very own Jason Graham at The Sweeping Hand. Top man and highly recommended.
I've searched for a long time to find the right one. Mine is a mark 2 dial with box and papers. I sold my TT Sub C LB to fund it and couldn't be happier. Having worn it for the last week I finally get what all the vintage thing is about. I love the faded charcoal grey dial and the plastic crystal. Thinking of adding a similar late 1970's GMT master next. Hope you like the pictures Cheers Nick |

Congrats and welcome to the "dark side". Be prepared to now chase down period correct booklets, accessories, etc. to round out your set. Then of course, you'll start to look longingly at other birth year pieces......
