What should be included with an AD purchased Rolex?

Hey everyone I just purchased a 116610LV on Sunday and when I got home I looked in the box and noticed a few things missing. Inside the sleeve of the box was only the chronometer tag, the oyster swimproof tag, warranty card and the Submariner Date booklet. No factory service booklet, no warranty booklet, no bezel protector and no green holder the warranty card and booklets go in.

So I called the AD and gave him a little piece of my mind about presentation and and expectations when making a large purchase. Easily fixed he has the holder and the bezel protector which I am getting Saturday but he says Rolex is trying to "stream down" their box contents and no longer provide the warranty and factory booklets. In the classifieds here every LV has them.

Are these important pieces to be missing? Will they affect value if traded in the future? What do you all think?

Not totally necessary, but good to have. Congrats on the LV, where's the pictures?

I just bought a Hulk a little while ago from an AD. So you know this is what I got and the lady told me it was everything minus the stickers.
outer box, inner box, green tag, extra links, white UPC tag, sub booklet, hard warranty card, worldwide service booklet and green sleeve to put them in.

Good luck

ADs (such as the one where I work) have been instructed by Rolex not to give the factory service booklet and not to give the outer green sleeve with all Rolex sales as of a few months ago. The green sleeve never really fit inside the boxes and I'm assuming they are revamping the factory service booklets.

+1 this is what i heard.

It would be better of course to have all the stuff that use to come with the watch however

Open the top of the box and look behind the flap. I bet it's all there.

I'll take that bet.

One of the above was correct, no sleeve, no factory service booklet. The want their pathetic little boxes to actually close

Enjoy the beautiful watch. You seem to have all the important stuff already. All the rest are only prop for sellers' pictures.

I don't think I would've even noticed if there wasn't a bezel protector, but warranty card, booklets, hangtags, and pillow thing I would expect. If one item wasn't there I don't think I would've cared that much...

To be honest, with how much I pay for Rolexes, I expect to get everything... Including full stickers still stuck on.

Period.

Thanks for pointing that out. I will bring a little mental checklist with me when I pay my local AD a visit. If you're making a purchase of many thousands of dollars they'd better make damn sure all of what is supposed to come with the piece comes with it, because in answer to your question, yes, that could potentially affect future value.

What should be included with an AD purchased Rolex?

For those so inclined. A green Rolex baseball cap, a miniature Rolex spoon, a Rolex embossed leather wallet, a Rolex desk paperweight and perhaps a Rolex banner to hang in one's den/recreation room.

I was hoping they'd give Porsches with their watches.

The amount these things cost, I was surprised I didn't get a holiday with my purchase.. Rolex must be making some serious money on these mass produced watches.. And we're extremely silly buying them, IMO
