A great day at the AD

Had a great couple of hours today with my AD trying a few different models out.

Dropped in lucky as they had just taken delivery of two of 2017's most talked about watches the SD43 & SS Sky Dweller in blue.

Also took the opportunity to have a look at a 60th Anniversary Day Date in RG.

Wow! 3 grails right in front of me right there on the table!

Talk about kid in a sweet shop!

Unfortunately the SD43 & Sky Dweller weren't available to buy as they were demmo models they had received ready for an invitation evening they were holding for select clients in a couple of days time.

The Day Date is gorgeous and was available, but unfortunately for me is currently just a teeny bit above my pay grade if you know what I mean!.. lol...one day maybe..??

Oh well it was nice while it lasted, but at least I am on the list for an SD43...watch this space...

Cheers Guys - it was indeed a great day to get to see and hold such beautiful watches that I'd only previously seen on the internet, oh and yes, the front door was definitely locked!
I can also confirm that the SD43 is far more stunning in real life than any picture, including mine on this post, will ever do it justice for.
You really do have to see it in person.
The dial is stunning - I didn't realise until yesterday how mat it is, completely different to my Sub C Date which is quite gloss by comparison.
The gold accents to the hour markers really stand out against the dull background and that red text...wow, worth the £8350 asking price alone!
Cheers...

Nice post of some great watches. The SD43 is the winner in my opinion and I agree with you about seeing it in person. You will love it when it arrives. My SD43 gets a lot of wrist time.

Work hard, save your money and the Day Date can and will be yours if you truly want it.
