You need to get pics of the lug holes that will tell the story and it's normal for the right side lugs to be slightly thinner... Look up rolex right side lugs and you will see all the experts say it's normal... Don't let this one get away

Judging from this picture that was definitely polished. There should be radial brushing on the top of the lugs.

It could just be the picture but that 1 o'clock doesn't look good. As others have mentioned I'd keep looking.

Paying a little more upfront will workout for you in the long run. I'd always suggest paying the premium for a mint example.

I think alot of people get caught up with the look of the dial / patina and really tend to forget that ultimately the accuracy of the movement / timing are what makes it a watch not a bracelet.

You absolutely have to have a look at the movement and make sure there is no rust on the parts.

6k is a great deal but dealers aren't in the business of losing money, it's a deal for a reason. if you take it to a service center and they open it and it's all rusty you're going to be out $2000 in parts and might not even be able to keep the dial. if there is watch damage on the dials its because there was a faulty gasket or an o-ring missing in the cylinder or SOMETHING.

OPEN THE BACK UP MAN! you should want to do this to verify the movement and caseback anyway.

Thank you Gents. I believe there is quite a bit of confusion on which watch we are referring to...

At least in regards to my post I was referring to two different pieces.

Ok

You’re very hostile. As with any high dollar item I like to do my due diligence.

Sub 16800 Patina

I’d still pass after seeing those pics, though they’re still really not good pictures. If you’re gonna go white gold surrounds might as well just look at a 16610. Newer movement and 904 steel.

I would skip too, and advise to hold out for a matte dial - they look infinitely better, for finitely more of a cost.
Here is mine
