Best resale on ROC’s

I’ve been considering buying an ROC for some time. 41mm white face has always been my go to, but I’ve been thinking about what might hold resale value the best.

Other considerations are white face panda, and the blue faced one.

White face is classic but the others are a bit more rare. I do like blue face but a bit less inclined as I already have BLNR GMT and an IWC that are blue.

Thoughts on what might hold resale the best and date I say, increase over time?

A watch is for enjoyment not investment buy the one you like and will get the most out of wearing!

It's really not worth considering the resale value for an ROC when picking which to buy. Any difference in resale value between the dial colors won't be that significant. Buy the one you like best and wear it!

That said, if it really matters to you, the blue dial is a bit tougher to source and commands a slight premium in the secondary market, compared to the others.

I do agree with both points! I just wanted to do my due diligence on what the outlook would be.

The white face is the one I’ve always wanted, pandas and blue face are cool, but I know less about them. I guess I was asking to see if I should consider them more, but it sounds like not!

Given the current market buying an SS AP is pretty solid as long as you are sticking with the RO line which you are, the blue as always demands a slight premium but then depending on how you are sourcing the watch can determine know this effects the overall price.

The white is actually my favourite of the SS ROC line and would be my choice.

Blue has a minor premium but it’s a slightly contrived market. The white however is the one to go for - to my eyes it looks the cleanest and the best.
