Moving on fellows...time to part with my beloved DSSD. :(

Here is what may be one of the last pics before she goes. Selling in TRF forums, so check it out if interested (or feel free to share with a friend in the market). I believe I listed it lower than any other pre-owned timepiece I could readily locate. Hope to sell quickly to move onto the next adventure. Thanks, been fun here looking at all the beautiful Deepsea's, and Happy Holiday's to all!

I am getting my D-Blue Seadweller tomorrow and was wondering if I will have to add a link. My wrist measures at 8 inches. I am hoping that the bracelet will open up enough so that I don't have to add a link. Does anyone know? I'll have wrist pics tomorrow....hopefully.

The only differences are between older and more recent/newer bracelets are finished differently in that what was originally a bead blasted finish on the recessed sections inside of the folding clasp are now a smooth polished finish.
Other than that, the difference is not visible when worn on the wrist, only when the clasp is opened.

I have both variants, with the original on my MK II dial DSSD and the newer polished finish on my recently purchased D-Blue.

There is a prior thread on this subject with pictures(I think) with the newer polished bracelet appearing on both.
Thanks for this info. Do you have any links/pics or more info on this?

Ok, putting this back on again. Seeing if it will stay as one of my "special" SS models that stay in my collection, as I scale my number down to 3 or 5 at most

I have had an M serial mk1 dial DSSD for years and have worn it nearly every day. I recently sent it back for service and now I was thinking of trading it for a small Rolex more like my others. However, after seeing all of the great pics in this thread, I am reconsidering that position.

Here's a pic. Sorry for the poor quality. I'm not nearly as good as this as most of you.

That's what I'm realizing. I think I'll just keep it and start rotating it. It's possibly the sportiest Rolex there is, when you think about it. it's the one designed for the most extreme conditions.
