Does this exist?

Hello guys !

I love this forum and enjoy reading you all quite a bit. I have a few pens myself, but really wouldn't call it a collection.

I want to get a MB FP that matches the set I've got of pen and pencil, but do not know if such a model exists.

It's a traditional Meisterstruck in black resin but with white gold. I would like the very same piece but in a FP that would actually allow me to use cartridges. Does this thing even exist ?

thanks for stopping by !!

Alejandro,

Welcome. When you say, white gold, is it possible you mean platinum trimming? Faith

Welcome to this part of the forum
Faith is spot on. The only MB Meisterstuck FP that has white metal trim on resin and with cartridge fill is the Platinum Trim Chopin or Mozart.

or

As the sizes of these pens are quite difficult to describe without seeing it in person, I strongly suggest you take your existing pens to the shop and compare. Since if your existing pens are the LeGrand range, then the only matching LeGrand FP is piston filled and cannot do cartridge (btw if you find a LeGrand FP with cartridge fill, it's a fake.)

Thanks,

that's what I was looking for, I guess, a FP in the same size as the others but with cartridge capabilities. It seems like it does no exist after all : (

Alejandro, If I might add, you misunderstood 2careless, MontBlanc makes a traditional black resin FP with platinum trim. It is called an A.F. Chopin and the fountain pen takes and uses cartridges or is piston driven. Your choice it does both!!!

I know there is a MontBlanc store located in Oak Brook and there may be one on the Mag Mile down on Michigan Ave. in the city.....
