Show me and wife your TT Daytona and YG GMT IIC pictures
My wife and I went to visit the local Rolex AD today, to try on a few possible choices that we can surprise each other for xmas My wife tried on the YG Daytona with black/champagne dial, which she quite fancied. She also tried on the Pt/SS YM (40mm) which she found less exciting than pictures suggested (as she said). I've tried on the YG GMT IIC which I found exactly as spectacular as pictures led me to believe. I found this watch way more beautiful than the TT or SS version. I also wanted to check out the WG/SS DJ II with the slate dial and green roman indexes, but it wasn't available on stock unfortunately...
Later on while having a cup of coffee, my wife said the would prefer the Daytona with "less gold", to make it less blingy -- a bit weird to hear that from a woman I showed her a couple of pictures of TT Daytonas, and she said the one with the black dial looks best, and it would be a perfect sporty timepiece for her. She also liked the one with the steel dial, but she said first she'd try that on, to see how the steel dial looks on her. If you have any pictures of TT Daytonas with black dial or steel dial, please post here. Might help to sway her in either direction Oh, and if you have any YG GMT IIC shots, bring 'em on I really have to start saving for that beauty. My favorite shot is still the one from the Rolex website: http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-aUlEAkUC_w...ellow-Gold.jpg BTW, where can I find the current EU price list? Or if it's not available, do you have the MSRP for the 2 mentioned watches? (TT Daytona, YG GMT IIC)

Are you looking for pictures on the black or green dial 116718? Current Rolex MSRP on the 116718 is $29,500 USD...

116718 is just spectacular! It's best viewed in direct sunlight. It's a very extroverted watch.
My wife loves wearing my SS Daytona with WG dial. Actually, I got the 116718 because it's the one watch she won't want to wear. |

Here is my TT Zenith Daytona with the Slate dial:
Sorry for the reddish color cast on the dial. The true color can be seen in the tiny picture in my signature.
