Grand Seiko ... Again
Went to take a second flyby of the Grand Sieko, and the dress models are beautiful.
Long with that line they have several other "lower tier" Seiko models. I asked if they have the SARB model line. They are very similar in dial, hands and case finishing at a fraction of the cost (300 USD ish) The lady said they do not carry those and added "The serious collector appreciates the Grand Seiko line" ... Ouch I thought. She hurt my feels a little bit. Just thought I'd share. But in all seriousness, the Grand Seiko is a great looking watch. Their white dials are especially beautiful and the finishing is top notch having handled several. The advertised accuracy is amazing. Though I cannot speak to real-life since I do not own one. |

SARB’s not really the line you want to look at, if trying to do a budget-GS – look at the SDGM001/003 or the Ltd Edition 007 (pre-owned only, probably).
