Just landed...

I haven't posted in awhile but just made my first vintage purchase ever (thanks to Achova).

It's not a Rolex but I am already quite please with the new buy. It's a late 1960s Omega Pre-Moon Speedmaster with the cal. 861 movement. It's in great shape and I took it off the bracelet to put on a horween strap (originally purchased for my sub-c, though they didn't go well together).

I have to admit that I now have the vintage bug and will probably only purchase those now. Hello Red Sub...

I've included my Sub-C here so that there's some Rolex content.

A must in every collection......Congrats

Now you just need to get a Thomas Preik sapphire case back to show off that beautiful 861 movement. You won't be disappointed

What would one of those run me out of curiosity? The thought has crossed my mind for sure...

Nice choice of vintage, I bought my Thomas Preik case back last year, I think it set me back around $150. Canadian, we don't have to pay the VAT (tax) here, nice piece of work, worth every penny imo.
