How much are stickers, in casket, named warranty card worth to you?

Assume you’re purchasing your grail watch new. What dollar value would you place on:

1. Full stickers
2. In casket and untouched
3. Warranty card with your name on it

I don’t care about stickers or a casket. I do however like my name on the card. I don’t know why. But it’s part of what makes it special. Especially if it’s one I’m leaving to my kids. But as long as its new I wouldn’t pay a dime more for stickers.

To me not much - I just want the watch in new condition. If one is to flip that watch all those things rack up the price - plus if you're going to take a nos piece and store it the stickers really add value to collectors....

For me it matters, at least the warranty card in my name but not a deal breaker. Real value > 0

Same here, in fact having nameless card for me is the best option as buyer (in case you decide to sell it) will like it more.

Good job you’re not in the UK as you’d likely get none of these
(Well you’d get no3 after 12/24 months) lol

I would of course appreciate if the AD would pull of the stickers before i put it on. Watch with little pieces of plastic looks stupid. On the other hand I would question my AD if he put another persons name on the warranty card.

The only important things when buying any new Rolex watch is first the watch and warranty.

When I bought mine a couple of months ago he just took the protective stickers off, then gave me the box and the card. Is this unusual? It was just like buying a watch. From a shop. Except with a glass of champagne

I sold all my second hands purchased watches and bought couple back with my name on the warranty card. It’s just me, I don’t care about the coffin or the plastics but hang tags and warranty cards and instruction manual are must come with the watch. I want to keep it all and give it to my children later.

I like it all and expect it from my AD.

B+P is a must. Card with my name on it if its something i plan on keeping. I also like to coffin for travel and storage.

I expect all the above from my AD @ MSRP and he never let me down.

stickers do mean something to me when purchasing from a grey dealer. it guarantees the watch is indeed brand new and unpolished.

Stickers, nice to see them on there to start with, but don’t care for leaving the shop with them on. Just nice to know that nobody else has been handling it and potentially adding scratches to it.

Casket, who cares!

Name on warranty - for me is required.

My experience is that name on warranty card doesn't impact re-sale at all. Maybe this changed this fall without me knowing?

1) $0.00 USD
2) $0.01 USD
3) MSRP -15~20% since my current grail isn't stainless

Hopefully this isn't another thread about potentially flipping your Daytona.

They are worth nothing to me. I buy watches to wear them so the condition, age and warranty are my concerns.

I pretty much only flip my watches to gray dealers for security reasons and as mentioned above my experience is that number 3 has no impact on trade-in and their re-sale value.
However, there might be people here who buy and get tired of their watches at a higher rate than me and has more science to prove me wrong.
