I saw one last week on the wrist of a pet microchip salesman. It told me I've been paying too much for microchips

I see them all over the place, at least once every week or two......but one has to wonder what percentage of those are fake since it is the most imitated watch that I can think of.

This and DJs. Surprisingly large # of BLNRs too, though I won’t say they are ubiquitous.

Coastal CA and Silicon Valley: everywhere. BLNRs are quite common too.

submariner is hands down the most abused and misused watch out there.. you can pretty much guarantee every douchebag out there has one

100% correct! I see one everyday in NYC. Black subs are everywhere, mostly on the train. You can't pass by the financial district without seeing one.

I see them in LA in tourist heavy areas such as The Grove. But then I usually only see one in an afternoon, if that.

I've been seeing a lot of 5 digit GMTs, Ceramic Daytonas, and I've seen 2 Hulks in the last couple of months in LA. And, of course, Datejusts.

In the California Bay Area, pretty much every mid-20s male techie who wears a watch has either a Sub on nato, Speedy on strap, or an Apple Watch. Also a lot of Nomos mixed in.

The mid-30s are all about AP and Lange.

I’ve never seen one on someone’s wrist out and about in public. I don’t get the notion that “Subs are too common, everyone has on” mentality. Not everyone lives in Manhattan.

I have a Submariner. My neighbor has a Submariner Date. I see them occasionally, but it’s an $8,000 watch. You’re not going to see it on that many wrists, and that’s just statistical fact.

That makes no sense. How can a microchip be a pet?

Whenever I am on vacation or at family gatherings, I always see a bunch. I once saw 3 hulks at the same hotel in Miami. It depends on where you are. I drive an M3, I think seeing a Sub is like seeing an M3. It's a nice ride, not rare, and certainly some less than charming folks driving them but it shouldn't deter your from your selection.

I was gonna say, douchebaggery must be a pretty profitable business.

Sometimes multiple in the same train. Love seeing them on women (seen hulks too).
