Current Collection... Feedback?

What do you think? If that's your collection, what would you be considering taking out or adding?

I'd move a couple of those Breitlings( I'd keep the Navitimer only), and get another Rolex or an AP.

Nice collection. If it was me I’d start to trade up and have less pieces but on a higher end

I like the Sub and the Explorer. Flip all the rest for a Daytona and you are set!

I would streamline that collection. Get rid of some Breitlings, Omega's and some other ones that you dont wear and buy 1 or 2 pieces that absolutely sing to you.

I think 7 watches is the sweet spot for number of watches in collection.

Would trim some of the fat. There are alot of watches there and do you even manage to rotate - However naturally also depends on your utility preferences as a collector

If it was my collection, I would trim it down significantly (10 or less, probably closer to 5 or less). I would go into vapor lock trying to figure out what to wear, keep, sell, trade, etc.

Very nice collection!!! Love seeing IWC and ORIS in there and the Gshocks!

Strap and dial variety is on point.

Variety is PARAMOUNT in this hobby - in my opinion.

I'd probably consider consolidating a handful-ish into something haute-horology or maybe a PM or two tone piece to add another layer. Or maybe something with complications - an annual calendar, moonphase etc.

Only other thing I'd say is don't follow the hype.

An eclectic collection. What's your current thinking of where you are and want to be?

Difficult for me to answer as it depends on your budget and lead times.

Keep Rolexes, one Breitling, one Omega, one IWC, one Oris, one Panerai etc and go from there.

Do you wear and enjoy all of them? I would consolidate for some HH pieces. Great collection though

I have a Breitling Colt chronograph which was my first foray into sports watches. I now consider the price of that piece to be tuition for learning about the genre. Whoever runs the the bezel department at that shop needs to be executed for crimes against humanity.

So my comment would be great collection but take the Breitlings with bezels out back and put them out of their misery. Love the Navitimer though.

Very nice. I tried to diversify but can't seem to wear anything else but Rolex. I have a problem.

No Rolex bias here? :)

Oris Aquis Carlos Coste limited.
Looks black almost all the time until the sun hits it then you realize it’s a very dark dark brownish color.

Yes that is a gorgeous watch that I get a lot of complements on

And you’re exactly right and I’m taking feedback with a grain of salt. A lot on this forum are so incredibly Rolex-biased, to where I feel they’re missing out on a lot of amazing watches that are just so different than Rolex

Cool collection. Everyone's opinion will differ and each think that they are King Wis. I'll give you my King Wis advice -
Keep-
Breitling SO Heritage and Navi, Shogun, Carerra and Pam. At a Push the Seamaster Chrono. Throw the rest at a Goddamn Rolex for ANY discount (if) you can. *Apologies. I can only see your first pic.

I’ll echo what many here have said. You have some great watches and some not so great ones. I’d get rid of the lower quality ones but stick with a few of the high end. 12-15 would work better for you. I’d try to offload most of those Breitlings and try to get a JLC or a PP.

Speaking of executed for crimes against humanity: I will shoot myself in the foot by saying this on this forum, but....

My SD43 has more bezel play than some of these Breitlings!!!! My yellow Seawolf Avenger bezel is solid and zero back play.

One Breitling and one Omega is really hard for me to do! I love the designs of these two brands more than any other brand.

As a matter of fact... there’s one MORE Omega on the way

Yes I do.

Less than 6 months ago, all I had were
- Tag Carrera
- Omega Planet Ocean 3-handed
- Oris Aquis
- Tissot Chrono.

All these other ones are new to me! My collection literally exploded over last 6 months.

I feel like I was deprived and just walked in a buffet...

So, yes, AS OF NOW, I wear them all (other than 2-3 pieces) and enjoy them all.
