GMT bezel insert
Hi I’m new to the forum and learning about Rolex. I like GMT, mostly bcoz of its colorful bezel insert. I recently come across some brown bezel insert on early Matt dial 1675. I think the single color black insert was introduced around 1970. I wonder when the brown insert were first offered? Does the brown one go with SS version? or more for YG version? Thank you

Hello and welcome to the forum.
The brown insert comes with the the YG, some black inserts of SS age into tropical brown over the years, however the SS comes with the famous Pepsi / Cock / Black / the controversial full Blue the "Blueberry"and the Batman(not vintage). |

Black inserts on the solid stainless steel GMT 1675s were available during the later 1970s.
Brown inserts were not offered on stainless steel models.
