1655 Expert View

Hi,

I came across this 1655 recently and would be curious on your expert thoughts on authenticity and quality.

Dial: MK5
Bezel: MK4
Year: 1983 (7655xx Series)

A similar model sold today at Sotheby's for EUR 15k.

As others have said bezel not right

I have an early mk2 dial with an mk1 bezel that I I have every reason to believe is the original combo (bought from original owner’s nephew), so they are out there — the one on eBay just isn’t one of them....

Meant to reply to other recent thread asking for 1655 advice re: a watch on eBay...

I'm not crazy about clicking on links, but I'd be happy to look at photos if you post them, e.g. using an image hosting site like imager. Some people may bother to click on the links, but photos will probably bring you more feedback.

I don't see any red flags with this piece. It looks to be in nice "polished" condition.

Price is objective. also depends on condition. I'm going to assume no bracelet is included?

16500usd isn't a bad price personally
