My history with the two similar watches.

I bought a black dial Daytona in 2004. Wore the heck out of it for 15 years.
Recently traded it and cash for nib ceramic black dial... thought I had done great as I got the ceramic for less than MSRP once I totaled up my amount spent
I was thinking I might prefer a white dial ceramic Daytona so I haven’t even worn the new one yet.
So I picked up a explorer 2 to wear around.
Then I got a blro from AD two months ago. (Unexpectedly)
But, I Began to hate that I let my 2004 Daytona go....a discontinued model that I had worn while my kids were born and growing up...

The new owner had since sent It off to service in NY and literally hadn’t opened the shipping box yet when he brought it to me today and asked if I wanted to buy it back...
Well, somehow I went from one daily Wearing Daytona to 4 watches in a few months ... you guys are a bad influence.
The Daytona does wear smaller. I think you will enjoy the Daytona. Who cares if it takes half a second longer to read the time.
Long term the Daytona seems better. Especially Once the hype of the blro wears down.

The discontinued Daytona seems like a good place to be.
