How old were you when you got your first Rolex?

And what was the watch you were wearing before Rolex?

No need for that.

I was two and worked hard for a year before getting it.

Mid 30s. DateJust. It didn’t have the quickest feature. Had to wind forever to set the date. I traded it in on a DayDate. Ended up buying another DateJust about 9 years ago.

I was 23 when I bought a submariner. I wore a breitling superocean before rolex. No need to wait if you can afford it.

22 years old. I bought a 16610 from Overguaard Jewellers (Grant the owner was such a great guy). Sadly like most small ADs, they lost the line.

I was 26. I had just graduated medical school and my parents gave me a 16610. Prior to that I didn't really wear a watch.

22. Bought a dj36. Couldn’t not take advantage of the gbp since I was visiting London at the time. So much more worth it than buying in the US

I bought my first Rolex at 54. I've always worn watches but could not see myself spending that kind of coin on a luxury item while I still had a mortgage and dept.
I mostly wore a Raymond Weil watch when dining out and a Tiger Woods Tag Hueur golf watch for casual and golf.
