How easy is it to get a current Tudor ETA watch fully serviced correctly?
As I type this post, I am wearing a new BB Blue with an in-house movement.
So far, I like this watch a lot. And it has got me looking at other Tudor offerings, like the current Ranger, reference 79910 with an ETA 2824 movement. The painted dial brings back memories of a Ranger I had many years ago. I have read my posts on this forum opining that a Tudor with an ETA movement is easy to get serviced by a good independent because ETA parts are readily available. But my question is – "What about the other parts normally replaced during a major service?" Whenever I have had a major service on a Rolex, the gaskets, crown and tube have been replaced. How easy is it for an independent to get these parts for the current Tudor watches that have ETA movements? Appreciate forum thoughts and experiences on this issue

I have an ETA Pelagos and the RSC service for a prior owner was $300 - which is only about $50 bucks more than my local indie dude charges.
So for the next time it needs a service I think RSC is worth the extra $50 bucks. |
