116506

I picked up my Sub from my AD in Edinburgh and was astonished what a great job the RSC had done and how new it looked. It had had a gentle polish, new hands and crown and the winding is so smooth compared to before.

After we'd concluded that business, I mentioned that I'd not seen their new dedicated Rolex showroom and was shown round some of their wares, including the SD4000 and a GMT IIc. Both lovely but the best treat was breifely to try on the stunning ice dial platinum Daytona 116506!

Wow that thing was heavy, I think it must weigh the same as a couple of POs. The salesman mentioned that they had sold two since it was released even at the eye-watering price of £52.1K (each link being about £3K) which is close to what I bought my flat, 15 years ago.

Sadly a lottery win would be needed.... but wow!
