First Audemars! 15202
So I finally pulled the trigger and got the 15202. Some what premature of a decision to be honest but I wanted to get everyone's opinion. I have exactly a 6' wrist so the 15202 actually sits on my wrists sorta funny. I pretty much assumed that by taking some of the links out it would solve the issue of the lugs not hugging my wrist but it didn't. The watch doesn't really taper to my wrists, it's very stiff and there is a lot of space. What are my options? Is there a older bracelet that I can swap with that fits better? Does it looks like it doesn't fit my wrist? Should I just get the thicker 39mm or switch to a 41mm?

This is a tough call. I have 6.5 and get a bit of that too. Are you even able to return it? I think I'd say 15300 or the 37mm. It's a wonderful watch, good luck whatever you decide

I've got a 6.5" wrist and it's perfect on me. My wrist is also pretty flat. The watch looks great on you but up close may look too big. Try taking some distance pictures.

I think it looks fine. I think you should keep it like it is. Removing more links will only accentuate the gaps between wrist and watch. Congrats!

Yeah, it's tough with pics so close. I think the condition is just part of owning a jumbo unless maybe you have 8inch to close those gaps

Congrats, I think it looks just fine. You cannot make it fit better, since the fixed lugs shape wouldn't allow that. That's why I cannot wear the 41mm RO or the 42+ mm Offshores with my 6.3 inch wrist. The 39mm is a bit of a stretch for me, but it looks okay. The 37mm RO would be best for me (and IMHO for you too, actually), but I'd only get that if it was offered with a blue or black dial and steel case. But even then the 15450ST would be an inferior choice to the 15202ST in many ways (prestige, heritage, resale chances, overall "wow" factor, etc).
If you want another integrated bracelet steel watch with a great heritage, check out the IWC Ingenieur 3239 and of course the Nautilus 5711. They both have such lug shape that favors slim wrists way better than the Royal Oak's. Truth be told, I wouldn't give up any Royal Oaks in favor of those watches :) But, I can totally see those 3 watches (RO, 3239, 5711) co-exist in my collection. I'm 33% way there, rocking the 3239 Laureus right now

It's too big. I disagree with the previous posters - it doesn't look good. The lugs are clearly hanging off the sides of your wrist - the basic "test" for judging watch size.
I empathize with you, OP, as I have 6.5" wrists, but that watch is not for you.

To be honest, I don't think it is big. The watch is beautiful and looks good on your wrist. I am sure you will get used to it very soon! I have a small wrist too (6.3) and I am seriously considering the 15202. Congratulations and wear it in good health...

I have a small wrist and was able to size it well so that it fits me perfectly with 0 gap, mine is the older pre 2015 version which has a slightly thinner band but I don't think that matters. My band has 19 links in total (10 links at 6pm and 9 links at 12pm)

I think it looks okay but I also think that how it feels to you is the more important question. If the watch is comfortable on your wrist and it feels right to you, then keep it. If the opposite is the case and you will always have doubts about wearing it, it's time to return it (if you can).
Good luck, Sam |

Try to make some photos there. Also bring a friend and ask him/her to make a photo of your wrist from a few feets distance. Sometimes closeup wrist shots can mislead you to believe the watch looks off on you.

I didn't get to take any pictures but I tried on the 15450. It's a real shame this one doesn't come in the blue dial otherwise I would be all over it!!! It fits like perfection and it really isn't that much smaller. I've had a 36mm datejust so I'd be fine with it but I"m just not a fan of the white dial. Hopefully they'll come out with a blue dial sometime soon. Whoever engineered the bracelet for the 15202 should have taken us small wrist people into account :( It's pretty weird how the 15450 fits perfectly, the 15400 fits well, but the 15202 has the worst fit.

Congrats! As someone who also has a thin wrist, I feel your pain. I agree that the overall fit is not ideal (full disclosure my 15400st fits about the same way), but the watch looks absolutely amazing on your wrist. If you like the way it feels there, rest assured it looks fantastic. Definitely enjoy that beauty.

Not to be a party pooper, but I don't agree with the majority here. OP, I think your gut feeling is correct: the watch wears a bit large/awkward on your wrist.
