First AP House experience

Had a meeting cancelled on Monday so popped into AP House to say hello.

Nice place, and as always, the folk at AP were sort-friendly.

Got to have a look at some really cool pieces, the openwork Royal Oak really is stunning. But I was even more taken with the Openwork Code, wow!

I left having made clear the two watches of like. One of which i know i have little-to-no chance of getting (was on the list for the predecessor for a long time and demand has only gone up, unlike my status!).

The other watch was a curveball to me, and not the watch i was expecting to ask for. But my goodness it’s stunning. We’ll see if it happens, but fingers crossed.

One thing is for sure, with every AP interaction I become more and more wedded to the brand.

Hey Vince, glad you made it in eventually.

As to status, I think it's all an illusion that ebbs and flows in our own minds, but one thing about AP London is that they are fair and err on the side of minimising expectations. That said, I'm sure you charmed them enough to be on their 'good' list - for now...

Fingers crossed for you.

Yeah, they certainly don’t set false expectations and to their credit they have previously delivered for me. They just seem like good and decent people.

Hopefully I’m on their ‘good’ list but if I’m not it’s because there are people more deserving or just simply ahead of me in the process, no complaints from me on that score as I certainly don’t believe it would be for any underhand reasons.

Will deffo arrange to go back in with my wife, as she will love it in there.

Good to hear this experience Vince.

I'll be taking my girlfriend in next time to AP House to see what it is all about

AP House London,

The best watch retail experience I have had in years. Staff fantastic and knowledgeable.

Lovely atmosphere and no egos.

Wish I lived closer to pop in more often.

Will they welcome overseas visitors to visit or they only cater to locals?
