What would you trade/sell to get to a 15300? (opinionated/for fun)

Here's what I've got. 3 day dates and a sub.

What would you trade (ideally only one or two of them) or sell to get to a 15300 or a 15450 if you were in my shoes?

The answer can also be you wouldn't do the trade or sale at all.

Since you asked I personally don’t like and wouldn’t wear any of the 3 on the watch roll so I’d sell all of those.

I would keep the RG DD and maybe the yellow gold DD or Sub sell/trade the other two. Or keep just the RG DD and sell the other 3 for one or two other pieces.

Similar. I appreciate the three but wouldn’t wear them as it’s just not my style. I’d keep the green dial if i had to keep one, but the other two would deffo go.

15300 is epic.

As I said in the Rolex section;

I would much rather have a 15300st than any of those, so they’d all be fair game.

Realize something, AP is never going to make a 39mm non jumbo ever again. The 15300 is the only three hand RO ever produced in the 39mm size. Again, the only 39mm RO with a central seconds.

Not only is the 15300 a far more attractive and cooler piece, it is a true collectable.

I'd sell all 3 on the roll as other's have said. The only one highly desirable there is the RG green dial day date. Cash out on Rolex. Get the 15300. Hell get another RO or ROO as well. Or get a different Rolex. M personally am a fan of the white gold day date. Or throw that money into a YG green dial Daytona. If it gets discontinued you'll make more.

i would trade the sub and one of the day dates (excluding the RG olive) for a non blue dial RO. i just don't feel like the sub is a special watch, it's everyone's go to first rolex whereas the day dates you have are special. if you're talking blue dial then not a chance, i don't think those premiums are worth it

yep concurring with most. keep the sub and RG DD. Or go a step further and drop the sub too as the 15300 is a great daily and get a dress watch, a Saxonia or Calatrava. That's what I'd do personally for an amazing 3 watch collection.

I'd keep the sub and RG DD only personally. The RG anniversary DD covers all bases and is the most aesthetic of the 3 day dates.

But yes, I would add a 15300.

Another vote for Keep Olive DD & Sub and add 15300 best of all worlds. One of the most desirable daydates, a daily sport Rolex and a truly collectible 15300 would make for 1 hell of a watch roll / 3 watch collection.

Whatever you do, do it. I just traded a 116500LN plus cash for a 15400 in rose gold and on strap and silver dial, so not the grail, and have been thoroughly delighted. And I love Rolex. But I’m so glad I experienced an APRO. Good luck. Only keeper for me is the rose gold DD, FWIW.
