Very nice write up Elliot on one of my favorite TRF members, Bas has always handled himself with class and dignity in this forum and has helped many of us. I'm a big fan of how he handles himself, his healthy lifestyle and interests, ambitions and career!!

Good stuff gents!!

Thanks Bas - I had always been curious about that. Part of the on-boarding I do for new team members at work is always a social media check in.

It’s a massive boost to TRF having you on here, I immensely enjoy reading your knowledgable posts.

I had missed your platinum crown mod - that’s a very cool addition to read about in the write up !

Great interview and very interesting. Have always enjoyed your watchmaker posts and I think that Rolex would view your participation in the forum as a positive, for as you say you have never divulged sensitive insider knowledge, as witnessed by your refusal to comment on some members posts re the reasons for the current problems with the Tudor GMT date changeover issues. Respect.

nice

so does that mean Bas has to service his watch himself since RSC would just replace the Pt crown to a stock crown?

I am my own warranty, so yes And when service comes I accidently mistake that platinum crown for a steel one
