ETA of new Tudor 1926

Hello All,

Greetings! I'm new to the forum and so far I like what I see.

I have a new Tudor 1926 on order from my AD but he can't seem to give me an exact delivery date.

Does anyone here known when they should be hitting ADs in the U.S.?

Thanks,

Joe

Only Tudor knows and ADs when they get it

No one knows when one will show up at the AD, but the Tudor website says this:

Self-winding mechanical movement, Calibre 2824

Power reserve of approximately 38 hours

Thanks for the reply. Tudor's site used to say they'd by available in September but now that is gone.

Hopefully, there are no delays.

Yes, I did put down a deposit with my AD. I hope I'll be getting a phone call soon to 'come pick it up'!

The 1926 looks nice. I went to see if the Rolex store had one, but it was not out yet. They only had the Tudors that were not to my taste.

Tudor has fallen into the Rolex model on delivery and missed many of the dates for arrival of the new models. I talked to the President Of Tudor USA at an event at my AD and he provided several dates for delivery of different models and only the GMT was delivered on time. Can't say why they deviated from the schedule but I kind of have that feeling of , hear we go, with Tudor. Good luck on your wait and I hope it is short.

I like that and the 1926 SS with silver dial and the pink gold hands.

The movement is an ETA 2824.

Wish they had deleted the date. The movement is WAY to small for the case/dial.

Apparently, one can buy the 1926 online now (shipped from Asia) for an inflated price with a high shipping and handling added on. I would wait and get it from an authorized dealer with the full warranty and papers for less.

I just got a text from my AD that my 1926 is now considered "back-ordered" and they are not able to give me a firm delivery date. I hope this doesn't turn into weeks of waiting.

Just got another text from my AD... ETA for my 1926 Tudor is now end of November. Looks like this is turning into a Christmas present.

I finally had a wobble into my AD last night and was told eta was November as well. He is going to give me a call upon arrival. Seemed to have plenty of stock of all other Tudor models including Blackbay 58s.

OP Latest update...

Just got a text from my AD. He said Tudor contacted him today regarding the 1926 I have on order. It should be ready for pick up in 3 - 4 weeks from my AD.

I'll keep you all posted.

Yep... I was on vacation and stopped in a Tudor AD and asked if they had any 1926 models and the sales person didn't even know this was a new model.

I guess it's up to us to educate some of these salespeople

That watch will look stellar on a proper leather strap.
