Was at my AD yesterday, can't believe what they said...

...when they asked me if I wanted another glass of champagne. I mean at this point really do they even need to ask? Of course the answer is yes I would like one.

The NV champagne was delicious. Veuve yellow label is quite drinkable and on a warm day like yesterday it is very refreshing.

Some Rolex content so I don't get banned, in the case:
  • AirKing
  • Milgauss Green
  • Platinum 40mm Yachtmaster
  • Rhodium 40mm Yachtmaster
  • TT Yachtmaster
  • YM II SS
  • Bluesy

While I was in the store one customer came in asking about the Pepsi GMT, another about SS Daytona. My salesperson said they've already had hundreds of inquiries about the Pepsi by her estimation.

You just casually get offered champagne at your AD and don’t need to buy anything? That’s very nice, seems like the right treatment one should be getting at an AD compared to some of the posts we’ve seen on here lately.

With only those SS can see why getting the punters drunk is their sales tactic.

Yes my AD offers champagne, beer (Stella), soft drinks (with ice), coffee, hot cocoa, and even bourbons.

Technically I did buy something I guess, but it was a special order my wife and I were picking up that we had put in a few weeks ago at an event to raise funds for the Lucile Packard Children's Hospital. That's not really a factor though, they'll offer a proper beverage to anyone who is seriously considering buying something.

I was at my AD Friday, and offered a drink...I limit my Coke in take but it was Friday so why not have one?

As long as they serve it in a glass with ice this is still acceptable.

Breaks my heart that the Rhodium 40mm Yachtmaster is unpopular. Such a stunning watch.

My wife’s favorite watch is her 31mm platinum. She thinks about getting the 31mm Rhodium all the time including yesterday.

Ha! Indeed! Sounds like my AD. I'd be ecstatic for a diet Coke. So it goes. Cheers!

All the NYC ADs serve Veuve too as long as you convince them that you are serious about buying.

Clicquot's orange label telegraphs very well, makes a great flag. For a warm day I would have preferred Taittinger. But, it was free so The Widow it is.

Very nice. I’ve been offered a bottle of water. Never champagne. Not even a Diet Coke!

Wait. I don't get champagne, and my AD sold me an unpopular watch?! This has been a devastating thread.

LPCH is a great hospital that I miss. We still have season tickets for football up there. Who is your AD?
