The Daytona. If you are the guy for diamonds, go for it.

My favorite watches are professional series/styled watches. For me it would be the Platona, no diamonds.

Diamond index platona, I've had it on a few times and I love it!

I would choose the Daytona with the Lume.
I don't like the smooth bezel, I don't like the diamond dial.
That's the selection and why.

All stunning watches, my choice would be between the Daytona without diamonds and the DD with diamonds. You can't make a bad decision choosing any one of them!

Fully agree. As much as I like the platinum dd, it doesn't beat the Daytona. Now the question is which one of the Daytonas? I am slightly inclined to the diamonds version.

So... I wear number 4.

I picked it because I like lume and the others don’t have it. The diamond dial is not over the top in person but it lacks texture, which I could live with, but the hands don’t have lume. So if I were to change I would put on the diamond dial AND I would leave the lumed hands on. Best of both worlds.

So number 6.

I like the date function but I should be retired when I purchse so I really wouldn’t need a date function

But like some here, if I have a Day Date it should have a fluted bezel. Not to fond of the smooth. Although I do love the blues and the quadrant deconstructed is very nice.

But then I think I would miss the lume, especially if you would be able to see it most of the night.

Curious. It looks like the dials on the Daytona’s are a little different. The Ice Dial looks a lighter blue.

Is it just the rolex website or has anyone had hands on a can verify a difference?

Daytona with diamonds would be my favourite, beautifully executed. On the Pt DD lacking the fluted bezel

Agreed, it's all subjective. It is what makes you feel good / the one you lust after etc etc.

"Wanting to set my grail goal. Which would you choose and why?"

If you have to think about it than it is not a grail in my opinion. You should just know.

I wear this one.

Maybe i need Platinum Daytona with baquette when i have done my dishes

I like DayDate roman motif most as it does not bring attention that much, seen as normal steel watch. But those who know... start conversation I would like Platinum Daytona with baquette dial too. I have already offer too from my AD, but have not ordered yet.
