20 years ago I remember lusting after the rose gold Rubberclad offshore whenever I would walk by the Cellini window on Madison Avenue. It seemed like the perfect strange blend of crass and class :) At the time I never thought I would one day own the watch... Two decades on and although some say the original Offshore 42mm design language is dated, etc. I still love the watch much in the same way I did the first time I saw it. As an AP fan to me for a two-watch collection to enjoy and wear daily, the combination of the rose gold Rubberclad as a sporty watch and a SS Royal Oak for a more restrained watch that you can wear casually or even in more dressy occasions, is the perfect pairing.
