This thread made me go back and tell APNA Clearwater to go ahead with refinish on my ROC I had planned to have movement service only on.

The watch owner likely didn't want to wait for AP to refinish his watch. His money, his terms. Judging from the prior state of the watch, the owner wears his watches and not the other way around. He probably doesn't mind a polish job that isn't factory. I wouldn't do it personally, but I'm not going to knock on someone for what they choose to do with their belongings. Better than someone who is afraid to enjoy his well earned watch!
