If you like the look, have you considered Hublot?

looks like the bezel is Carbon, maybe Ceramic would of been better.
But its hard to trick my mind after seeing a nautilus for years with SS bezel to any other material that is not SS.
Maybe someone with fresh eyes can give a better assessment , because I am having a hard time digesting that.

In my view, they have butchered the best features of the 5711 - the gradient dial and brushed bezel.

The matte, dark-grey camo-style bezel conflicts with the brushed and polished steel surfaces of the rest of the watch in a very bad way.

This is my view.

I love what they do with submariners and Daytona’s.

But this does nothing for me at all - ruins a perfect watch whose a simplicity is it’s great strength.

(And the nautilus is a watch that would not be in the top three of my favourite Pateks that I would aspire to own)

What’s good about the 5711? The bezel and the dial. This one has neither. Really?

In the future the big money will be made un-customizing this so it can be sold as a stock 5711/1a.

Great way to spend a bunch of dollars on a classic timepiece to reduce its value by twice what you spent on “ customizing. JMO :-))

If you don’t want to know what time it is then this is a great mod to do that.

The black bezel is just too ugly. Would have been great if the original bezel is kept.
