Mercedes Benz Comand Trackpad

Wife’s keys left a big scratch (she has a 2018 GLC 300) on the trackpad near the cup holder. Enough damage was done to warrant removal.

Anyone have luck dealing with the same? Was thinking of using Mother’s plastic headlight polish to buff out.

Any tips here would be appreciated.

Just thinking out loud, since that is a touch surface I would be wary of trying to "polish" it for fear of doing more damage.

I would take it to a dealer and ask.

Appreciate your feedback here. I think your approach is the most prudent here.
