Congrats! Glad to hear they're still finding ways to get new people into the brand. Looks great.

16 cm is 6.3 inches. Guess it’s personal preference if the wearer feels comfortable with the watch. I think the 15500 looks too big on a wrist much less than 6.5 inches. Closer to 7” the better. Of course, depends on shape of wrist, if wrist is flat, etc.

I'm exactly 16cm too and I chose the 15500 over 15450 as the 37mm definitely looked small on my wrist. The 15500 wears slightly larger but prefer larger than too small for a RO, the original was called the Jumbo for a reason!

For those wondering the 41mm 15500 is actually good for this wrist size. I came from a 44mm Apple Watch and the AP feels a bit smaller.

16 cm = 6.3 in.
How many link did they take it out?
I think total link = 21 links (not counting 2 links at the clasp)
This timepiece looks gorgeous on your wrist.
Congratulations!

Thanks! I got mine sized initially at 16cm (21 links) but was loose so I opted to remove 1 link (20 links). That made it feel too tight so I went back and added back the 1 link myself temporarily.

To make everything fit perfectly at the current setup (21 links), I need to replace 2 links with a 1.5 link. Hopefully I can do it soon.

Timeline:

1. Jul 17 - Went to NYC store and expressed interest in a 15450 but was convinced (rightfully so) that a 15500ST was better. Got to try a silver 15500ST on and it was spot on. The silver I tried was for a different customer but having tried it on and see it in person made me get this exact piece.

2. Jul 18 - Made a deposit online after making a decision.

3. Jul 29 - Went back to the store to pay in full.

4. Aug 25 - Was informed my piece has arrived.

5. Aug 27 - Was told to get the piece but can't so opted for overnight shipping.

5. Aug 28 - Got the piece.

Apologies for the shaky wrist shot, I have a condition.

The transaction was not perfect however. There was a weird occurrence where the AP Boutique told me I have to get the piece by the end of the month, if unable to, they will have to give the piece to someone else. I don't see why this is the case given I have deposited already and paid in full. They informed me they have overnight shipping so opted for that.

Was super happy overall and everything was smooth! Thanks to the AP Boutique in NYC! Y'all are great!
Congrats! Wear it in good health and enjoy.

I’ve come back to this post as this watch is stunning - when you say ‘silver’ do you mean this is the white dial 15500?

The color for this dial they called Silver toned (white and shinning like silver).
