Panerai 687

Another member of TRF asked me about my 687. Its a watch I chose and bought at the AD, as a limited piece of 1500. Some time ago, I considered flipping it because it wasn’t getting much wrist time but, I wore it again. Compliments that day surprised me and, even my gf said “hell no, don’t sell that one”. Anyhow, I fell back in love with this watch. Its really important not to be impulsive with your watch collection, especially the flip motivations.

Need more wrist shots. I'd love this one, but am scared of the proportions. I'm 7 1/8 and my DeepSea is about all I can handle!

You and I have an almost identical wrist. You could easily wear this piece or, any 47 radiomir. Especially compared to a deepsea...it would feel like you don’t even have the Panerai on...in comparison.

This particular piece has the unusual bezel design (unique, no other Panerai has this) which, in my view, visually reduces the piece. Optical illusion but, true.

That tobacco dial will work with so many good straps. Even a tan suede or alcantara. Beautiful.
