My weekend with one of the rarest, coolest vintage Rolex ever!
Hey all,
Ok... make sure you are sitting down before you look at these. A friend of mine let me borrow his DRSD tiffany dial for the weekend before we sent it off to Bob Ridley for servicing. I've always been partial to subs over sea-dwellers dimensionally but this watch changed my mind. I tried but couldn't find one angle or type of lighting that it looked bad in! I'm sure I inadvertently offended a lot of people that weekend by staring at my wrist while they were trying to speak to me. Other than that, what a trip this watch was!!! I may have cried a little after giving it back. Anyway, I hope you all enjoy the photos!

I had a DRSD for a bit. Very nice watch.
You must be a close friend for him to let you borrow that for a weekend!

Beauty - love it.
8 lines, that's a lot of text on the dial with the Tiffany's logo as well though! |

re: "before we sent it off to Bob Ridley for servicing..."
Why would you borrow a broke down watch ? But seriously, just for safety's sake, I think you should have offered to drive it to Bob and deliver it in person. What's another week on your wrist |

Haha. That's a good one! When it comes back it will have an NOS t39 superdome rather than the service crystal. Ugh as if it didn't look good enough already! My buddy wants me to sell it for him but I think I might have to take a loan out instead...
