isn't the 114060 a bit smaller than the 116610? I would expect it to fit a bit better.

I have had this problem with almost all watches since I lost weight and two links off my bracelets which I used to wear complete. I have since started wearing my watches above the wrist bone (elbow side) and tight enough not to slip past the bone towards my hand. All is perfect now. At first I didn't like the look very much but now I think the watches look even better there.

The GMT will sit flatter there's no Glidelock for microadjustment so it might be a wash. Also, if the stainless steel Sub is "hurting" you, I'd rethink the decision to get a PM piece.

Possibly, but I don't think the weight is an issue its how high the watch sits on my wrist. I might grab a SS GMT for a trial run.

Good luck with the GMT. Definitely sits flatter. Never had an issue with the Sub but I do prefer the fit of the GMT.

Yep. Not a very comfortable watch on my wrist either, same size as yours.
Sits too tall and clunky, doesnt slide under a cuff well either. My GMTii sits lower and wears lighter. Much better fit for a small wrist. |

Sorry to hear that the SubC isn't working for you. How long have you had it for? Some watches take a while longer to get used to. I've had mine for a month now and it took me almost 2 weeks of fiddling around with the link configs to get the correct fit. It has been the most comfortable Rolex that I have ever owned. I have tiny 6.25 inch wrists btw.
I currently own both the SubC and the GMT2C. The GMT2C does have a very slight thinner case but not by that much. It does ride a bit lower but not much. I highly doubt that you will find the GMT more comfortable than the SubC. Especially, without the Glidelock. I think you should give it another chance before flipping it. Just my 2c. |

I've got minuscule wrists and my 114060 fits perfectly, 4 full links at 12 and 6 (not including the attachments) and then the glidelock at its tightest setting. Could well be down to wrist shape though.

Weird, I don't really understand how having a slightly thicker case back would "hurt"?? I have a 6.75 inch wrist also and don't have a problem with the SubC - not even the SD4K which has an even thicker case back.
What about a Yachtmaster? I have one also and it does sit flatter then the Sub. |

Not sure what the issue is.
I have a 6.5 inch wrist. I have found every Rolex I own very comfortable to wear. Like I'm not wearing a watch. Subs, Daytonas, GMT, Explorer, Datejust et al. I also wear boxers, not briefs. No problems here either. |

To be fair you do have two of the notably more comfy models.

I have 6.75" wrist and SubC is no issue, but compared to BLNR, it's slightly less comfortable than the GMT but still can't say uncomfortable. Maybe adjusting the bracelet link and micro adjust ing glidelock will help you.

I'm 7 inch wrist. The only new case I felt comfortable is the SD4K. Why? No idea. I feel very well with 5 digits subs and extremely comfortable with 36mm cases!! Just wait a bit and if after some changes in bracelet or clasp your problem is not solved then think about sell it!!

Why not post a wrist shot with your Sub? I have a 7.5 inch wrist and since I am lefty, wear watches on the right wrist. I have a 5 digit Sub and a newer 6 digit Hulk. Wore the 16613 for every day for almost 18 years until the Hulk came and never once did I ever have comfort issues. My wrist is also relatively flat where the Sub sits, so maybe I'm just lucky. Not everyone has the same shape wrist. Only issue I have is in the hot weather when my arm sweats and then the watch tends to gravitate towards my hand and I have to push the watch back up on the wrist.

Don't know what to tell you. I have a 6.5" wrist and my 116610 is the most comfortable watch on a bracelet I've ever owned. So comfortable I forget it's there. Now my old 14060m on the other hand... it got sold because I never could get a comfortable fit with the bracelet.

I have a 116610 and I sold it for the same reason. My BLNR is perfect fit on me.

I also have a small wrist and in the interest of comfort have stayed with smaller watches, without regret. While I would love a Sub, comfort matters and the 36mm Rolex are perfect and completely comfortable for me. I want to love what I wear, so I'd flip an uncomfortable watch. YMMV.

The Sub case has more bulk than a Daytona or Explorer 1. Maybe that is the difference in comfort. I wear my Subs above the wrist bone farther away from the hand.

I have the same issue with the 6 digit reference Subs. I have a bony 7.3 inch wrist and the larger CB on the modern Sub just does not fit me good. Tied to love it as I really like the look, tried several different set ups with the clasp and where I wear it on the wrist, but none really worked out. The modern GMT CB is flatter and fits me much better, but not as good as vintage. The 4 and 5 digit models wear much better on me. Maybe try a 5 digit Sub and see how you like it.

Get a GMT, fits under a cuff, sits better on the wrist.

I have 6.25" wrist and it fits just fine. It's my daily watch.
