Can anyone recommend anywhere to get a custom leather croc strap for a VC 1921 Historiques.

Appreciated.

VC should have a wide range of options if you haven't called yet. Jean Rousseau and Camille Fournet are great options.

VC shiny navy blue for my Cornes de Vache turned out incredibly in quality and color.

One thing to note, which I recently found out at their boutique in Dubai, is that as of this year VC are no longer supplying double-sided alligator straps. Going forward, the underside is made of calf skin.

Watch Strap Help (VC 1921)

VC VMXF081246
Alligator big scales high shiny
Dark blue. Beige liner.
XL size (125 x 85)
Hand stitch
This is 20.2 mm and 18 mm at clasp

Your watch is 22 / 20. My point is this isn't a website / catalog item but they can help you at the concierge number.

Did they provide a reasoning?

The sales assistant I spoke to didn’t know why VC decided to do this.

Could be cost cutting, but I doubt it. Patek always did calf skin on the underside for example.
