Baruchi - with my first Rolex

Just got my first Rolex yesterday 31-Oct-2008

116000 Oyster Perpetual with Arab numbers (Silver dial - Serial starts with M)

I'm proud to own the first 36mm Oyster Perpetual Rolex that Rolex released- not the first piece of production though

Welcome thanks for sharing your information.

I would love to see a photo of your Oyster Perpetual, and hear your thoughts of this new model watch experience.

I've have used the pic of my new rolex as avatar. The experience of wearing a geniune product is awesome. Though I cannot wear this piece everywhere (it's dangerous here in Pakistan), I've just decided to use it at office or special ocassions.

Planning to buy other models in the near future.

Thanks for the greetings and warm welcome

Thanks for the photo. It looks like a great dial.

I'm surprised (although I have not been there) that you do not feel comfortable about wearing your watch while out and about.

Anyway, I'm sure you will enjoy it.

I would suggest a 5513 Submariner as a good change up to your Oyster Perpetual and they were made in 1973.

Here's what mine looks like:

The cost depends on the 'model' of Rolex you wish to buy, condition etc.

You could pay anywhere from around $3,000 upwards.
The Submariner would be something around $6,000+ depending upon condition, accessories etc.

Hi Asad! I'm staying in Lahore as well. I even bought my new Rolex from Wilson & Co (AD in Lahore). Anyhow, I'm not a Pakistani therefore security is really a big concern.

Thanks for the Warm Welcome guys!!! I really found new sets of pals by just acquiring a Rolex
