Thanks for the info.

Would anybody have an idea on how much a clasp would cost.

Also, I guess that RSC in Bexley would be the best people to ask?

Yes the clasp alone if you could sourse one would be well over £1000 retail closer to £1300.

I spoke with Rolex RSC today and the price for a new bracelet with the glide lock clasp (which they would have to fit) is £702.00

Did they mention that you will need to have a SubC to be able to purchase the bracelet and the glide lock?

That is a huge difference in price....is it £1300 or £702?? I'm highly curious.

I have both the SubC and the Explorer II 42. Just curious - my Explorer II bracelet fits me just right, but I did notice that it only has the summer / winter minor adjustment available. Do you need more than that or is it just too loose (or too tight)? You can't find a comfortable setting for your wrist?

I find both bracelets to be absolutely acceptable, although I do like the look of the longer SubC clasp and the glidelock is nice, but when I wipe it over (after each shower), I find the Explorer II clasp easier (less messing around, disengaging, resetting length, etc.), so for me they are both a nice alternative.

No, but if I did get one, it would be through my AD

Good question and one that I can't answer, that is what the sales lady at St James, London told me.

Personally, I would say that the price that she quoted me was too low, unless of course it was purely for the clasp alone

I find the Easy Link works great for me, there just enough difference that it works just fine for me.
