Datejust and dial options

Thinking of getting something like this for the wife but there aren't many around with this dial. This one belongs to a friend, he says he special ordered it when he bought it new in about 1992. What are my options as she doesn't like the stick dial?

I'm a fan of the arabics myself. Older references [pre-60s] may also be had with with valentine or dart indexes, and dauphine or alpha hands.

I love this place! This is exactly what I was looking for. I must say I dislike using the search option when I am looking for something unfamiliar to me (takes me all day), but it worked out perfectly this time. I am looking for a DJ 31 for my girlfriend and wanted to see dial options for the particular models, although the pricelist does a good job of breaking it down you can’t see what can go where. I have to say I know next to nothing about the DJ line and this in conjunction with the price list will help me “sound” intelligent when my AD calls me back this afternoon.

We have 3 AD’s in the area and 2 of them are almost worthless and the other one is just an uncomfortable place to be my regular AD is 3 hr away. We have been shopping around local and have found some that she likes but the AD wouldn’t give me a model number because “its just a date just and you can get any dial, bracelet, bezel configuration you want. Their all the same”

Didn’t mean to hijack the thread just didn’t want to start a new one when the info was here.
Thanks
