Icon6 Your first love sets the passion.

... and you eventually find another.

Unsure why it took me so long to appreciate this one.

It’s a great watch, and would have one if I had near the wrist to pull it off. I think iwc is underrated and under appreciated here on the forums.

I agree. I like IWC designs.

I have two other pilot watches and this is the only one that feels like it’s worth the asking price.

For a guy like me, that’s rare.

Makes a great desk watch too.

Always loved the Big Pilot, just don't have the wrist size to pull it off.

Nice, however, dial is too big for me.

Nice watch.

When I was on TimeZone back 15 years ago there was a sort of disdain for IWC because people didn't like their pricetag with off the shelf movements so I never really pursued them.

I bought an Archimede Pilots watch to see if I like the design but it didn't stick.

There is something nice and clean about the design and IWC seems to have lost it's luster a bit lately but they are a nice watch.

The Top Gun model from a few years ago is nice as well.

Ahh!!! Congratulations!!! I love my 5002; it is one that will stay in the collection no matter what. And I love the size...it’s why it’s called the Big Pilot!

I think IWC has some beautiful designs, but they’re rather too large for my wrists. Real shame. The pre Richemont days were the best, in my opinion, with pared-down simplicity.

Yours looks great! I just wish it would suit me!

Good comments!

It’s certainly large but it’s still usable. Not heavy and it feels like a travel companion.
