Pink 14K 5022 Oyster ca. 1949

This just arrived today. I believe it dates to just prior to the introduction of the Super Oyster crown (Serial #: 638xxx). It is a standard 34mm size. I just happened to have a nice 19mm Hirsch honey ostrich strap in the drawer...I am loving it!

The movement looks immaculate. Classic vintage dial with sub-seconds and the center seconds hand

Thanks. It's my first solid gold Rolex. I'd been looking for one like this for awhile, even found a bombe model briefly, but the dial is always an issue, as is the price...

And it's keeping chronometer-like time (+3 sec since yesterday morning)...
