Congrats! 5212 is a wonderful piece with a useful complication. The best part of the watch it it's versatility with straps. You can just about throw any strap on there and it looks good. Wear in the best of health!

Congratulations!

Mind sharing your purchase experience? Was it a walk in purchase/short waiting time or were you on a list for a while?

For those asking I bought this piece pre-owned. My local “AD” are one of the most infamous flippers, unfortunately.

Looking forward to adding my first strap! Already have a nice “lagoon blue” leather strap eyed up, but going to enjoy the current configuration for a little first :)

Congrats. My favourite PP and one that I wear a lot. It’s very under the radar. Have a Pilot Time and a 5726 but still love the 5212 to bits. It’s such a great watch.

Thank you. Do you know definitively if the lugs are welded construction?

They appear to be to me

What does it mean for an AD to be a flipper?

...That's because you are blessed. I had the privilege to gift this to my cousin on his 30th birthday, The look on his face is what I'll never forget to this day. congratulations.

They really don’t allocate hard to get pieces to clients except on rare occasions .. because they run a “seperate” company selling used watches/gray market

wow didn't know that existed... seems like something that would be easily caught by Patek no?
