incoming - mitsukoshi

always coveted this dial, and lucky enough to land it.
it's definitely not a straight white dial. has more of a slight off-white pearlesence, possibly more like opaline.

mated with the hesalite, the combo emanates a certain warmth and distinguished sensibility.

love the applied markers and omega symbol... such a lovely touch.

Have had minefor several months now, it’s a showstopper. Congrats. Did you buy it already done, or have a watch converted?

Beautiful. And that strap looks like it was made for the watch. Very cool.

Beautiful watch. I've had a mitsukoshi dial and hand set sitting in my watch box for a couple years, might have to get it installed at some point. Would look perfect sitting next to a Speedy Tuesday.

I think it's a regular hesalite Speedmaster with a modified Mitsukoshi dial. Original Mitsukoshi Speedmasters are extremely rare as they were only made for Japan and I think for one watch shop. There were a lot of additional dials made though so a lot of Speedmaster fans bought up the additional dials and did the swap.

correct, the watch is originally the current 1861 gen, with hesalite and steel back.
and modified with the mitsu dial and corresponding hands.

Very nice! I love my mitsukoshi convervsion! Recently got the snoopy strap from the Omega boutique and corresponding clasp for just over $500 and have been using it on the strap instead of bracelet and cannot get enough of it! Got a lot of compliments on it when I went to my ADs Basel event recently.

would argue the snoopy strap actually looks better with the mitsu dial than with the snoopy dial due to extra contrast of the black subdials.

hmm, seems to have less 'personality' on bracelet than on the snoopy strap...

Love the dial I almost went for it but instead used the fund to pickup a Speedmaster Trilogy watch. So this might have to wait till it makes sense $$$ wise.
