Favorite rolex: DaytonaC, SubC, GMT2C, Explorer 42mm

I have a Sub C date and love it. I never was a fan of the Daytona bezel, but the Daytona C white Dial is an incredible color combo and by far is my favorite. Too bad I will never find one at MSRP.

Also not for the old school or purists, but if they ever came out with a white dial sub would be all over it. That would also be a great color combo.

The 116610LN sub C date. It was my first Rolex and has always been my favorite.

Polar Exp II AND a SubC Date. They compliment each other so nicely!

Daytona ceramic black dial is not that desirable??

It is behind daytona ceramic white dial, sub c date, gmt batman, and sub c (no date)

Could anyone provide the reasoning, is it just personal preference or is there anything wrong with daytona ceramic black dial?

I love the black ceramic Daytona. Looks much better than the white IMHO

Far left wins for me and these are my favorite SS Rolex without a doubt!

To handyhsl there is nothing wrong with black Daytona it is one of best Rolex made! The only thing wrong is there no option for the new 126710.

116710LN for me just ticks all the boxes with the 116500LN Black in second then the 116610LV then 114060.

Having own all in different variant, my vote goes to GMT LN and Exp II 42mm black dial, with Exp II gaining some extra points.

Reasoning below;

Daytona: No date kill it. Look small on 6.5” wrist too.

SubC/ND/Hulk: Super case make it look blocky. Glidelock although fanciful and very adjustable on paper, quite useless for me as hardly use it. If necessary to expand bracelet, Easylink seem easier. Either on or off, no need to stumble for accurate adjustment. Bezel click is quite distracting.

GMT: Super case issue again. Beside the PCL, nothing to nitpick for me. Bezel action is muted and usable for tracking elapsed time albeit with 2-3 mins off accuracy.

ExpII 42: 42mm case might be too big for some but black dial wear smaller. Dial to body ratio is very high, meant superb legibility. Had both black and white 42mm, keeping the black. Find it easier to read on black dial during half dark half bright situation. Fixed bezel a plus as no moving part meant it’s more rugged and easier to replace/polish if banged up. GMT hand serve as day night indicator if it’s not used to show second time zone.

Of the watches listed it is the Polar Explorer II. Probably the SD43 for watches not listed.

Thanks for the vote!
I have commented a few times.. surprising that black daytona is not that desirable

This vote will be considered to help me decide my next watch, planning to purchase in in 2020, because they are so hard to get, i need to plan from now

Black daytona is the one i am lusting for

Keep voting dudes

On that list, I like the BLNR the most.
But the D-Blue is my favorite steel Rolex.

Thanks everyone!
So the ranking is:
1. Daytona ceramic white
2. Sub c date
3. Gmt ceramic batman
4. Sub c
5. Daytona ceramic black (surprisingly number 5, i thought 2-3)
6. Gmt ceramic all black
7. Explorer white
8. Explorer black
