Has anyone put the D-Blue on a rubber B? If so, any feedback on the quality of rubber B?

It's been on for maybe three years now and I love it. It's been on two diving holidays and generally well used yet looks as good as new. Importantly, no sign of impending failure at attachment points to the case or clasp either.

It immediately addressed the thin looking bracelet issue. As a bonus it's a more comfortable wear and also makes the watch easier to slip under a dress shirt cuff.

That's exactly how it is! I've seen them listed 1200- 1500 even more than that, over MSRP. I got a tip from another member on an AD that had one for MSRP. First time I've been happy getting anything at list price! Should have it in the next few days. Now I'm doing the back and forth if I should sell my 114060 to help fund the move.

I was thinking about getting the Rubber B with either the blue or green line. I'm leaning towards the blue. The green may clash with the color of the DeepSea text. What's better, the one that retains the glidelock or the buckle?

I'd go for the Glidelock version always! I can't imagine ever wanting to loose that functionality. It does require a bit more effort with the screwdriver set to fit the band but well worth it in my opinion.

My band is plain black, I find the stripe versions to be a bit too 'Gucci' for my taste. But then again I am a dour Scotsman.

Thanks I'll order the glidelock version. I've got an Everest on my 114060 I wanted to try the Rubber B this time around.

I love my DSSD. it's my third rolex. But by far my favorite. I will post a picture of mine when I'm off the road.

Debated for a few months between this and a SD43. Really glad I made this choice!

Yes indeed it is

There is quite a nice collection of pics contained in this thread.
It's quite understandable though, as the watch can be described as very photogenic

Put my deposit down last Thursday on the 2018 just released DSSD at an AD out-of-state who I've bought from before. He said they ordered it at Baselworld.

1. Will Rolex notify him when it is on it's way in?
2. Any rough guesstimates how long I will wait?

THANKS!

All I have for a pic is the brochure shot.

ADs usually get notice once the watch has been shipped (within a week or less).
I would think it could be at any time. They're shipping.
I got mine May 10th from my AD and was first in line.
