Oh no, this should be forbidden...

I had seen a few horrors before from Bamford and the likes, but don't remember them disfiguring any AP, but now there is this.

I really don't understand people buying these abominations, the worse was some guy who was saying on a forum, not sure which one, that he got a Bamford Rolex for his son as an investment, I guess some people think that if there are only 10 pieces made it will go up in value, I mean they originally sell for what 2 times the retail?

For me it is money that you throw out the window, at some point the reality will hit you in the face, which is that you spent a fortune on a really ugly watch that you will sell for 3-4 times less, if you manage to find a client, though there are most certainly enough people with zero taste and willing to buy it at a good price, without that companies like Bamford would not exist...

Anyways here it is, I warn you not for the faint hearted:

Must be aimed at those young Mid East flyboys who gold plate their lambos outside Harrods.

Reminded me of this limited edition from iwc, which I absolutely loves. Agreed that the front looks strange on the AP but this IWC is a classic !!

I think it’s beautiful.
Did they make the blue dial extra blue or is that just editing?

Hardly an abomination, Armaud, just something “we” purists wouldn’t gravitate towards.
As pointed out above, for those hi like to customise their hypercars with various wraps or non-factory paint option, then it’s no leap of the imagination to figure they’re a prime target for such designs.
I’m sure if they asked or wait a while, Girard-Perregaux will have a ceramic Laureato with a similar colour dial and Arabic numerals, to that of the steel one.

The date wheel is white so maybe it started out as a silver 15400

Oh no, this should be forbidden...

I’m failing to see the point being made in this thread! Is it the colors or the numerals rather than the stick markers on regular ROs?

Plenty are selling custom Blacked out luxury watches with custom dials. Do I like them, NO! Do some others buy them, sure.

The fact that they have actual Arabic numerals is fine by any standard! Or is it forbidden to sell watches in any other numerals but English... wait for it... Arabic numerals lol?

DLC 15407st except it’s only an image as they clearly forgot it was an openworked and you can see white through the movement!!

In truth if you want to pick up the quickest number of girls in the shortest amount of time, this is the way.

If it came from the factory like that people would probably be singing a different tune. Watch isn't for me but the thread title is hyperbole mate.
