What a great idea, it痴 like getting a new Rolex without the wait. Terrific look. Thanks for the insight and idea.

$650 for the dial swap and new hands? Thats awesome price man.

It looks great btw. The white dial is very clean and crisp - it is one of my favourite.

Way to get yourself excited about the DD40 again! I thought I wanted one of the black dials but my salesperson worked her charm on me and talked me into the white and I知 SO grateful.

It really sparkles in the sunshine

It looks fantastic! I switched the dial on the OP Date my parents gave me. It was a champagne dial and I couldn’t read it very well. I got a new bracelet for mine as well. Spent a lot on a watch that wasn’t worth it but it was a graduation gift from 1988 and it means a lot to me.

For as long as same reference number and part available, my understanding is this can be done.

Great to hear. I知 after a YG DD with black dial, but have often wondered in 5 years say about changing it for a different dial.

Champagne, white, black, silver. Too many options

This looks stunning! I agree it looks better with the white Roman dial.

It is possible on the Sky-Ds. I’ve confirmed personally at the local Dallas RSC. you just can’t swap up to dials that are only available on PM. I wanted to swap my white dial to black, but fell in love with the white! No longer desire to change it. The white is fantastic looking in person. Photos simply don’t do it justice.

The price is about $1700~ for the swap here though and 8-12 weeks wait for dial.

I asked about this at the UK HQ; they will do it, but only along with a service. I have the rhodium/stick dial but come a service I might switch to black, just for a change. But not for another five years or so.

I picked the black dial version initially as I thought the contrast with YG is stronger with black. But overtime, this kind of wears off and desired the extra "sparkle" from the applied indices. Also, one drawback about the black dial is that the motif pattern is not obvious at all unless under direct sunlight, unlike the silver motif.

Kinda weird since your original dial is worth the same amount probably and will likely be used for someone else and he'll be charged as well.
