Panerai Lumior GMT 10-days Automatic PAM533 Unboxing & Introduction

[Panerai Lumior GMT 10-days Automatic PAM533 Unboxing & Introduction]
Date of Purchase: January 10, 2021
Place of Purchase: 台北101-沛納海專賣店/Taipei 101 Panerai Boutique Store(Taipei,Taiwan)
Retail Price(at the time of purchase): TWD$415,000
Purchased Price: TWD$395,000

Officine Panerai (also known simply as Panerai) is an Italian luxury watch manufacturer, and a wholly owned subsidiary of Richemont. Giovanni Panerai (1825–1897) founded Officine Panerai in Florence, Italy in 1860. The Luminor collection is inspired by models released in the 1950’s that were used by the Italian Navy. Introduced in SIHH in 2014, the Panerai Luminor GMT 10-days Power Reserve Automatic PAM533 comes in a AISI 316L polished stainless steel casing that measures 44mm in diameter. The watch has a date complication at 3 o’clock position and a GMT complication showing using the 3rd hand with a triangular tip. The watch also shows the home time whether it’s AM or PM using a 24 hours marker at 9 o’clock position. This is a watch meant for business people on the travel and people on the go in mind. Of course, the Panerai seconds hand is positioned at 9 o’ clock position as well. PAM533 also comes with a meaty 10 days power reserve using 3 spring barrels, and is indicated by a linear marker positioned between 6 o’clock position. The dial is a traditional sandwich which is two superimposed discs with beige faux patina markers giving it a retro look especially with the 6, 9, and 12 hours indication. The watch is extremely legible thanks to its enlarged dial indication done in Panerai fashion and is filled with SuperLuminova. It comes with beige cow hide strap giving it a vintage dress watch look and appeal. PAM533 is 10 bar(100 meters) water resistant, and is in-house manufactured with P. 2003 calibre that can be viewed through the exhibition caseback that features double balance bridge and bi-directional winding system. The watch movement has a hacking seconds function which stops the seconds hand when the crown is pulled for precise-time setting.

Current collection: Rolex Submariner 116610LV, Omega Speedmaster Moonwatch Professional, Panerai Luminor GMT 10-days PAM533

Thank you for your kind comments, and yes, they gave me a Panerai branded down vest.

Your 233 looks great, btw.

This is the official picture of PAM533 taken from Panerai’s website:

I hid the GMT hand behind the local hour hand because currently I am not traveling and in my home country so the local time is the same as GMT(home) time like so:

Current collection: 1) Rolex Submariner 116610LV, 2) Omega Speedmaster Moonwatch Professional 311.30.42.30.01.006, 3) Panerai Luminor GMT 10-days PAM533
