Steak Lovers
What is the best steak you have had?
Favorite cut? Dry aged or not? Best steak restaurant non national? Best steak restaurant chain?

I love Berns. But I’ve had many a good filet from quite a few local restaurants.

Have done the typical upper-end places, I make 'em 'better'. Have no fave, more of what my mood takes me to. Veal, tomahawk, dry-aged, wagyu... yet it is nice to go out from time to time.
Why no love for Texas Roadhouse, loooove their cinnamon butter hot rolls!

Best steak I've ever had...
Bone-in rib eye, from the Waterlot Inn in Southampton, Bermuda. Great dining experience as well - if you're ever on the lovely island of Bermuda, make it a must go. |

Bone in Rib-eye, Tomahawk or Cowboy cut, I'm not picky, barely medium rare.
Rathbun Steak, and Hal's both in Atlanta. Luger's (either location) in NY for Porterhouse. Quality Meats - NYC, Steak 48 - Chicago. Those are my top 5. I had an Elk Chop once at the Gun Barrel in Jackson, WY, that may be the best protein I have yet put in my mouth. |

I actually took the lonely train ride from Kyoto to Matsusaka to eat the best Wagyu in Japan, using female not male beef like Kobe-gyu, I even had a walk around the back and spoke to the specially selected virgins as they massaged the cows with Mozart playing in the background. Well some of that was true.

Good call, I had forgotten about this place. All of that fresh seafood and the Steak at the Waterlot was the best meal I had in Bermuda by a mile.

I prefer to cook my own. Reverse sear. BI Rib Eye are my favorite.
Memorable steak at Kai at the Grand Sheraton Wild Horse Pass resort. Prime Coffee rubbed Buffalo filet. The was the last steak at a restaurant that really got my attention.
