10,000

Was hoping to do something kinda cool on TRF for my 10,000th post, but I'm slammed lately. I guess I'll just share some of my favorite personal Rolex watches & memories (in the form of photos) from the past 6+ years of membership.

Thanks to everyone here that makes this place what it is!

Congrats on 10K, Chadri!! Amazing how your wrist & collection have gone in that period of time.

I'll try to do some digging in my old threads, but short answer, I don't totally know haha. My dad has been collecting forever and a few years ago I stopped by his house after he went to the bank and he said he wanted to show me something. This is the pile of watches he pulled out! I'll try to find the thread asking about them.

Thank you! Yeah the collection tends to shift here and there, but it's been an amazing ride. I've been lucky to have some pretty amazing watches on the wrist

Many congrats! That is an awesome collection. Sorry for the Dorklehead question, but the Blue Bezel GMT(?). Is that from Patina or a mod or?

Thanks Paul!

I guess there's no way to know for certain, but I bought it from a member here on the forum that deals a lot with faded inserts and vintage parts. He seems to think it's a naturally faded insert.

Amazing. What are you going to do for your 20,000th post?

BTW, the first watch photo is too big for that wrist.

Amazing and thank you for sharing such awesome pictures. The one I remember the most, was the jubilee bracelet mounted onto the Hulk. Huge congrats on 10k!

That photo is from about 5 years ago shortly after my son was born. The title was something like “does this watch look too big?!” Haha

I’ll do a nice giveaway for my 20k.

Wow, really great photos. I think the PCL Hulk looks really good. Hulk already has a gemlike dial, and the PCL really enhances it.

Wow! I did not expect to see all that diversity in the pictures! Crazy cool Rolex collection, and thank you for sharing. I'll be going back through to look at all those photos again now.

Edit to add: Also, I noticed not a lot of precious metal in your collection. Just curious, do you just tend to like SS better?

Have you lost track of which bracelets originally came with which watch!? I would have to come up with some kind of system to make sure I kept it all straight.

Congrats! Love the different bracelet/strap combo's. My favorite is the jubilee on the white 116500.
